Lacombe County invites proposals for Beaver Control Services to control beaver populations, which can harm municipal infrastructure.

Lacombe County’s intent is to provide professional and timely beaver control services while in compliance with all Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations. The successful proponent shall be expected to complete the following tasks:
- Perform beaver control and removal works using various control methods following all Federal, Provincial and Municipal regulations.
- Work closely with municipal staff to ensure the coordination of beaver control activities.
- Assess and provide analysis of problem beaver locations as required.
- Complete weekly logs identifying the location of control activities, the number of beavers removed, and other site-specific data as required by Lacombe County.
The successful proponent shall be responsible for all staffing, equipment, training, liability and risk associated with each required activity. The successful proponent must also be available to the municipality to ensure the timely completion of beaver control activities.
